I'd like to give my two cents on a subject that's got people talking recently: WN's low cash reserve. Without far more donations: WN cannot continue to operate as it currently does. This isn't a far off problem, either, we won't make it far past the new year if the problem isn't rectified and if we don't sort it immediately then we won't have enough leeway to sort it again if it does become a problem. The buffer we're eating into at the moment is crucial, we can't afford to wait until it runs out....

I'm back in the race that is gaming and WN. I haven't made a blog since I stepped down from BO admin earlier this year. Looks like I jumped ship at about the right time, though I didn't see the end of the department in it's near future. Anyway, it doesn't take a genius to see that my activity has dropped loads since I stepped down but I've been sitting and waiting for this new MMO called Aion to come out.

BO currently has ideas for promotion of LAN events within WN. There's a poll and more information up here. I encourage you to go vote and submit your thoughts as they could prove integral to the development of the proposed project.

Anyone with sufficient rights will know of the existence of the office, the place where the BO admins get together and drink until we fall over. Anyone with even more rights will be able to see what's inside. Don't though, it's just a group of guys dribbling all over the floor and being sick in the corner. Damn, I'm glad it's DP's office. I think he gets some child to come in and clean it up or something. I think they're from Africa but, to be honest, I haven't really ever seen them.
