Game Champions will be selected when games are brought into WN and will act as temporary leaders of the section until a permanent leadership is chosen.

Elite Developer

EDs are Developers with global moderation rights who will oversee all sections in Development. They will be the first link between the Game Champions and the Development Administrators. The EDs will keep in contact with all Game Champions and offer assistance when needed. They will also be the Development administrators’ eyes and ears in all the developing games and alert them should any problems develop.

Elite Developers CANNOT:
- appoint Game Champions

Elite Developers SHOULD:
- help out with administrative paperwork (Scriptorium, approving new members, updating rosters, etc.)

What it takes to be a good Elite Developer:

You need excellent writing/communication skills
You need to have proven your dedication towards Warrior Nation™.
You need to be active on the forums and in games.
You need to understand how sections work and improve.
You need to have good leadership skills.
You need to be mature, polite, friendly and in possession of a decent working brain

Developers

Developers should be in the business of writing reviews and watching for new games. They are the talent scouts. They know a lot about games and should know what’s going to be hot or not. They must have good writing/reviewing skills. They should be very into their games and play a lot of different genres and be willing to spend some time researching.
This is a full time job and requires maturity/commitment.

Developers also oversee sections in Development. When they step up in assisting a section in Development they will receive moderation rights for the forum and roster. They will work together with and oversee the Game Champions to help the section get out of Development.

Developers CANNOT:
- approve new accounts
Developers MUST:
- write at least one p/review a month (exceptions are easily made for valid reasons).
Developers CAN:
- occasionally guide new sections through the process of Development.

What it takes to be a good Developer:
You need good writing/communication skills
You need to have proven your dedication towards Warrior Nation™
You need to have basic leadership qualities; previous experience in a leading role is beneficial.
You need to be mature, polite and friendly.

Game Champions

Game Champions receive moderation powers in the forums they are a GC for. These powers are limited to opening/closing and stickying/unsticking posts. Except in exceptional circumstances, GCs will not receive powers to edit their roster but will instead either a) have a Recruiter assigned to the section who will be able to do this, or b) have an Elite Recruiter/Development Colonel/Development General do this for them.

Game Champions are the primary leadership ranks for new games. They recruit, post information on their forum, help anyone who needs it and refer any problems which they cannot deal with themselves up the chain of command. Usually there will be at least one Development Recruiter assigned to their section who will be able to answer any questions and give help where needed.

Game Champions will usually be those people who have wanted the section brought into WN in the first place, or who got interested in the game shortly after its addition as a Development section. A sticky post will be made when a game is first created asking for those people interested in a Game Champion position to send a PM to the relevant person, and after a week or so of taking applications then those successful candidates will be appointed.

Game Champions CANNOT:

- approve new accounts (PM an Elite Recruiter/Development Colonel/Development General for assistance in getting accounts approved)

- unilaterally make new policies for the section (i.e. make a post announcing that practices will be on Mondays at 5pm without discussing it with other section GCs and the section members first).

Game Champions MUST:

- ensure that all new recruits receive basic WN knowledge (know how to sign rollcall every month; know that Iron is god; know how to get themselves added to the roster, etc.)

- be kind, courteous and respectful to all members at all times.

- remain active both in-game and on the forums, or risk losing their Game Champion status.

Game Champions CAN:

- approve transfers to and from their section on The Scriptorium.

- give themselves a better chance to be selected as that section's permanent leader by taking a leading role and being active on a daily basis.

What it takes to be a Game Champion:

You need to have proven your dedication towards Warrior Nation™
You need to have basic leadership qualities, previous experience in a leading role is a benefit.
You need to be mature, polite, friendly and helpful.

Game Reviews

Game Reviews will be posted in the Game Review forum. THEY WILL ALSO BE PULLED TO A PAGE SIMILAIR TO THE WAY ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE PULLED TO THE FRONT PAGE OF WN. After everyone responds, they should then be LOCKED so we have an archive of all games reviewed. NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO POST IN THE GAME REVIEW FORUM ACCEPT RecruiterS, EVERYONE ELSE JUST RESPOND TO POSTS. This way we have a record of all the pruposed games we have had in WN. Game reviews done by RecruiterS.

Game Selection and working of Development

Games should be brought into WN under the following conditions:

- Someone is willing to be Game Champion and should be competent for the job.
- At least 10 current WN members or members recruited from outside of WN are willing to go Primary for the game.

At first the game will be in the Under Development forum. Once it reaches 20 members and there is a competent leader among them, then it can leave Development and become a full section in its own right. When the game reaches 20 members a section leader will be picked out by the Development team. This leader is most often but not always a Game Champion.

The Development Administrators, Elite Developers and assigned Developers will support the section by all possible means.
When a game fails to reach 20 primaries within a reasonable period of time then the section will be shut down and the Game Champions demoted to regular members once again, before the section forum is archived.

Games that already were in WN but failed to become a full-grown section can be brought again into WN under the same or slightly revised rules (such as having 15 willing Primary members) but they have no guarantee to be accepted by the Development Administrators. This is done on a case-by-case basis.

Overview and Department Flow

Recruiters find new game and review -> members judge the game and give their opinion -> game champ appointed if 10 members want to bring game into nation -> admin support appointed -> game is put in dev forum to mature -> when leaders emerge and game is rolling and has at least 20 member base, game is brought to be officially supported by WN
