Game Champions
Game Champions receive moderation powers in the forums they are a GC for. These powers are limited to opening/closing and stickying/unsticking posts. Except in exceptional circumstances, GCs will not receive powers to edit their roster but will instead either a) have a Recruiter assigned to the section who will be able to do this, or b) have an Elite Recruiter/Development Colonel/Development General do this for them.
Game Champions are the primary leadership ranks for new games. They recruit, post information on their forum, help anyone who needs it and refer any problems which they cannot deal with themselves up the chain of command. Usually there will be at least one Development Recruiter assigned to their section who will be able to answer any questions and give help where needed.
Game Champions will usually be those people who have wanted the section brought into WN in the first place, or who got interested in the game shortly after its addition as a Development section. A sticky post will be made when a game is first created asking for those people interested in a Game Champion position to send a PM to the relevant person, and after a week or so of taking applications then those successful candidates will be appointed.
Game Champions CANNOT:
- approve new accounts (PM an Elite Recruiter/Development Colonel/Development General for assistance in getting accounts approved)
- unilaterally make new policies for the section (i.e. make a post announcing that practices will be on Mondays at 5pm without discussing it with other section GCs and the section members first).
Game Champions MUST:
- ensure that all new recruits receive basic WN knowledge (know how to sign rollcall every month; know that Iron is god; know how to get themselves added to the roster, etc.)
- be kind, courteous and respectful to all members at all times.
- remain active both in-game and on the forums, or risk losing their Game Champion status.
Game Champions CAN:
- approve transfers to and from their section on The Scriptorium.
- give themselves a better chance to be selected as that section's permanent leader by taking a leading role and being active on a daily basis.
What it takes to be a Game Champion:
You need to have proven your dedication towards Warrior Nation™
You need to have basic leadership qualities, previous experience in a leading role is a benefit.
You need to be mature, polite, friendly and helpful.
