Warrior Nation™ was founded on strength, loyalty, dedication and heart.
History of a clan can be interpreted in many ways and there is no one
way to look at it. It is the many members that have built the history
but here we will present you what the leaders see from their own words.

Words of WNxShover:

May 20th 1997 the day it all began.
Thunderlizz and Sporto where playing games in the IT office,I popped in for a reprint report and Blam there it was Warcraft2. The Game that started online gaming for me.

Not knowing anything about computers at the time let alone online gaming I popped the disk in at home and launched into HEAT.Net. It was easy to use and alot of people playing at all hours. I was in heaven and was hooked on online gaming.

Then it happened Walking into the IT office. I found Thunderlizz and Sporto playing the game of all games...Total Annihilation!!!!!!!
I was hooked from the get go. I ran from store to store to find it but with no luck. So on a trip out of state I walked into K-mart to get so things and found it. As soon as I got home I installed it and launched into my home away from home Heat.net.

I played there night after night becoming known as the newbie from hell Beowulf1973. Then I lost my password and could not find a name to use without adding a number to it. Welcome to the birth of Shover.....

After a week or 2 playing TA on Heat.Net my close friend Thunderlizz joined me on Heat and then the 2 on 2 world belonged to us. By this time mine and Thunderlizz's reputation grew and everyone on heat wanted a piece of the 2 guys ruling the TA lobby at night. It was then that I told Thunderlizz we should form a clan and start owning all of TA.

Enter {LOC}Leppard, The Main Man, The Mentor of Shover.

Lepp and I did not know each other till Thunderlizz introduced us to one another. The Lepp told me about his clan {LOC} and I was intrigued and we talked many hours about this and the idea of {LOC}'s Wulf Pack was born.

This New branch of {LOC} would be ran by Me and Thunderlizz, and I stared out to recruit inside of Heat. Many people said no cause clans were just *assholes with attitudes* and rejection was all around us, I turned to Lepp and asked for the wisdom that he used to run {LOC} and was told this "Remember it is a game. It is supposed to be fun and done with friends" and that is all I needed.

I tried again this time just hanging out with the other players playing and talking and next thing you know Malachai joins the ranks of the Wulf Pack. Now it is a 3 man assault team on heat, Malachai brings in MellowMan(the Yellow Warrior as I called him)
now it is 4 people. Then I was asked to partner with Camp007 for a 2 on 2 and won I asked him to join with us Blam 5 members. Then a young a brash man named TheCrow00 asked to join this new group and was brought in by Malachai,now I thought we have our 6 man wulf pack that would unstoppable and it was.

***Spring forward 1 year and 20 something member***

TEN Total Entertainment Network,the new place the Wulf Pack wants to try to expand to. A young man of 16 named WolfWolfyman asked to join the Wulf Pack and said he would take Wulf Pack to new heights by forming a branch squad at TEN. After 2 days of arguing with Malachai and Thunderlizz we give the thumbs up for it. We did great. Wolfy recruited some good players but the 3 that stuck out the most were WP_Face, WP_ToxicMech and WP_GreenBoy. These 3 were the top WP players we had on TEN. Then after 2 weeks Wolfy said he needed to call it quits for studies and asks to be demoted but still stay in the clan. I said sure and without missing a chance like this WP_Face asks to run the squad for TEN, at which point has 12 members (yes even you Hunter). By this point "The Pack" is a steamroller of destruction, mowing down everyone.

Tensions build between {LOC} and WP to where I broke off relations with {LOC} and WP. We would be our own clan with no ties.

So begins the task of making our own webpages, which fell into the hands of WP_Face. Everything was going good then it started the confusion of the Wulf Pack name and the 300 other clans named the Wolf Pack. So started the 1 month debate of a new clan name. WP_Face was stuck on using the name "War Dance"(alcohol induced thinking I belive)but I was not liking it.

I wanted something to represent a world of Warriors, a Nation of the meanest, nastiest gamers out there. Then after looking at what I wrote to WP_Face it stuck out bold and bright Warrior Nation™ would be the new name of the clan.

Now Malachi did not like this, it sounded weak to him, but he lived with it. LucaBrasi (who did not have a comp yet and gamed at my house)said it was sweet there no other clans out there named Warrior Nation™. But Face said we should all change our names to WNx(name here).(the reason for the WNx cause heat did not support the _ or {} or () or any of that.

***advance 6 months***

TEN was sold to pogo and the doors were closing, hence everyone had to move to HEAT.Net. This was the shit. No one I mean no one could stop us on HEAT, and in time the HEAT roster grew on its own which made WN huge with 65 members and the biggest clan on heat.

***Time Line***August 18th 1999***

WNxReaper came to me and asked about a new branch to WN in a new game that just came out Kingpin:life of crime. So I talked to Malachai, Thunderlizz and Wakko(wondering were Wakko came from? WP_Face changed her name to WNxWakko)and we all agreed on it.

Reaper only recruited 1 person in a week. This was not looking good for a new squad so I said I would go to Kingpin and try to help it along. So I bid TA a final farewell and left it in the hands of the madman Malachai and Wakko.

Oh it was great fragging to all hours of the night with HMG shots and Tommy Guns Blazing till the dawn of the new day. In a week I recruited 5 of the most sought after players Hitmam187, SilverGunner, SilverChojin, SilverSlipper and Hitmans best friend and partner, Blaze. With these 5 members we carved out a good name for ourself(considering it being a new game and a new clans popping up like weeds) within a month Reaper had a squad of 18 members that could rock and beat most clans in there. Then it struck Reapers comp took a horrible crash and he did not know when it would be back up. So I lead the squad killing and slaughtering the innocent bystanders all night.

Overnight we grew even more doubled in size before. We now had 50 members between TA and KP.

So a year goes by and we stay steady in TA and KP till 1 day at work Thunderlizz walks up and tells me about this new game called 10six. He tells me it combines TA, Warcraft2, and Kingpin into 1 game!!!!! I was awestruck. I was wanted to get this and play it(Thunder had been playing it for months and not telling anyone)So I flew home, downloaded it, and started to play it.

I was lost, confused and just baffled. I called Thunder at work and told him I will just wait till he got home then he could walk me thru it more. It took 2 days for me to get the controls down. So I started to spread the word about it and some of the TA and KP guys started to play it. Next thing I know I am playing it full time. I was transfixed on mining transuim and destroying bases till my eyes were bleeding. Now that I am stuck in this game full time I give control of KP to one and only SilverGunner who takes the Kingpin squad to the next level owning Death Match and Bagman. Making WN a even tougher clan to beat in Kingpin.

So with Thunderlizz, Nightmare, Avalanche, Carnage, and a few more, we set out to conquer this new game. And lord o mighty did we get a rude awakening. There has been people playing this for a year and they new the ropes way better than us. We all just buckled down and started small. Till we started making new friends and learning the game inside and out.

After a month there we, had recruits and were starting to climb up the ladder system. Next thing you know we had a day and night shift. We were there 24/7. If you logged on there were 10 WN to watch your back. We grew to every squad of the game. We were the biggest baddest clan in there destroying all others be it newbie or veteran. It did not matter. "Either you were with us or against" was our new motto.

We stuck by that saying for months till Nightmare replied to a person while destroying his camp "We Just Wanna Take Over the World" and our new motto was born.

Everyone that wore the WN tags said that in every game, every chat lobby, till it stuck as our motto for all time.

At this time a new game was coming out and becoming the hottest game ever, Unreal Tournament. SilverGunner hinted about branching us into this game and wanted to run it and hand Kingpin over to SilverChojin. I once again discussed it with the other Weapon Masters and the said "what the hell what's 1 more game." So it began. Silvergunner was a madman killing everyone, making no allies to make sure everyone knew WN was all about business. He even wanted his own server to prove his worth to the clan. I told him just conquer the Heat server and he did till he lured me in there(by sending me a copy of the game) and who was our first recruit?
A man who took the name WNxLOKI. The only guy who could hang with Gunner.

Now I am bursting with pride,2 guys formed a clan 2 years ago and now it is a empire with 95 members!!!!!!MY GOD I AM LEADING A EMPIRE!!!!!

***A Year Passes***

The WN UT squad is 60 members strong with a death match squad and a capture the flag squad. It becomes harder and harder to remember names, matches, people you met and killed,etc,etc,etc. By this time the TA squad is shrinking due to the age of the game and people wanting to play other games. Many join the 10six squad where the style of play is similar. Others join the Kingpin squad or UT squad wanting to try out the FPS craze, and other just rode on off to the sun set(so long valiant warriors-LeviChar, Mellowman, Phordman, Kicker,and Brian2000)

Now the UT squad is huge with 2 Weapon Masters. Kingpin is running smooth under Chojin. TA still has small number of members, and 10six is going strong with Nightmare, Avalanche, and Pornstar running the show.

I start to think what's next?
Where do we go from here? Where do we invade next?

Then it hits the shelf Diablo 2 the game of the year and the game we will own next.

We start sending people in to test the waters, get a feel of how it works inside battle.net.

Then the horrible news hits.
Wakko tells me people are using our name on their websites, using our graphics, our style of web pages.

Needless to say I threw a fit. LucaBrasi says buy WarriorNation.com it would be the best thing ,no other clan has their own .com[well, LoC had WeComeToPlay--Lep] and it would be the shit to say "sign up at WarriorNation.com"

I was sold there and then. I bought the name but being stupid about HTML and server hosting I screwed it all up and had to call Malachai on the phone to help fix this. After 2 days we get it on freeservers.com(MISTAKE!!)and I turn the long and painful job of making us the top rated site to one and only Wakko, who took weeks of her personal time and school time to make us this site.

Now with this done I turn my sights back to Diablo2. Oh what a rush a whole new world to conquer 5 realms to choose from,people from all over the world to kill. Man I am lovin it. I start recruiting right away with my lifetime wingmen Thunderlizz and LucaBrasi. I am taking over.

Then tragidy strikes. My close friend and advisor LucaBrasi is forced to move to the coast. I am crushed, banged up, thrown for a loop. The final day he was here, we said our farewells as he climbed in the moving truck he said to me "It will take awhile for me to get back online, BUT don't let WN fall, make sure the empire is even bigger when I get back on" SO with that taken to heart I get back on Diablo2 with anew mission. "Make sure WN will be bigger and stronger than ever."

And thus the Diablo 2 Squad was born. First one open then to the east realm. Where I met some strong and faithful people Dabiz, diddy, Tamuz, Mith to name but a few.

The east grows and grows till the mention West realm idea will be a great to branch into.

Mithrandir sends in his trusted Champion Mason, but no dice. So I am stuck 2 options
1.go there myself
2.kill the idea

I was pondering it for weeks when I got a message from a old time friend Leppard.
We start talking about merging into 1 clan making our site even better with Lepp and Wakko doing it all. So I got the input from others and it came to be:

Warrior Nation™:The Legion of Chaos

I am renewed with joy. A clan just as old as we were bringing 2 new games and new faces into our ranks.

Then I get a phone call from LucaBrasi with him telling me that I pulled off the best thing ever with the merger. Now my mind made up I will go to West Realm and get it moving.

Conqueror(long Thought dead) joins with me on west to help the process, then my lifetime wingman Thunderlizz joins us and we start it going.

Smack-Crack becomes our most faithful and hardcore player.(Now grandmaster of west)and he recruits and drives our fire of taking of the world a reachable dream. Now with members coming out the woodwork on 2 realms.

Next up Hunter pops in saying he wanted the task of Europe Realm.T hinking about how he has stuck with WN since the beginnings on ten I grant it without question. He makes the euro squad happen bringing his friends and classmates to form a solid Squad on the euro realm. This makes 3 out of 5 realms that we have a very strong member standing on.

Next HalfLife is brought in under Slaughterenge with old time and faithful member 3800Blood as honor guard. StarCraft is next with DaPenguin running it and he brings his old clan in so it is a automatic strong squad.

So what's next for Me and WN?
No one knows for certain what may come.
But know this, with members and friends like this I doubt WN will ever perish like so many clans ever had.

Many things have changed for us, servers, members,a nd a name change. But remain calm true believer.

I was playing with WNxLive aka pooba2 on TA back in September 1998, we were playing on TEN gaming network and then this clan stuff became interesting. Guy named WPxMig which was wulfpack at the time asked if we wanted to join. So we did. Then I met shover who was playing on HEAT gaming network. He was saying they wanted to expand wulfpack to ten and Mig was trying to do it for him. So then we were all playing and recruited a few others. We then came to realize that WP was not well respected on TEN because of another clan called Wolfpack (only difference was the u or o) So I told shover hey lets do a new clan. Start over, same members, new name.

So we threw some names around and we came up with Warrior Nation™. So I was like ok I know how to do websites, Ill put up a small site and list out the members. So we had this crappy webpage which I at the time thought was the greatest. lol. Well then WN started to grow on TEN and HEAT and eventually MPLAYER.

Well TEN got shut down so many of us moved over to HEAT to join the rest of the clan. Found we were ruling over there. Well then as time passed we started UT and Kingpin on HEAT. TA was dying and UT and Kingpin became our largest.

Then I disappeared because I hate 1st person shooter but I was having fun with the website so I continued with that. So for 6 months I never played with the clan, I only did the website.

But all through this many others tried to steal the name and would make other websites telling people that was the official. It was getting out of hand. So Shover said fuck this I'm getting the warriornation.com domain. So we did and I transferred the site there and that took care of that.

Then HEAT was shut down and many members became scattered. UT moved to gamespy but still we had many members not sure and became lost.

Well D2 finally came out and Shover took that on full time. I was still not sure what game to jump in since I was still stuck on TA playing local games with friends.

Then I finally started playing Diablo2. Shover hooked me up and I was off. Meanwhile I met Orb on another forum and we began chatting on ICQ. He was a forum builder and was all hey I can hook you up.
So we began the forum but since our domain being on a freeservers server would not support cgi we put it on a f2s.com account. Well that was not very reliable so I was like ok I'm going to get a real host. So i bought warriornation.net and hosted the forum there. Once it was up we hooked the warriornnation.com domain in also so we would have 2 domains.

This is when things started getting good. Then the forum took off and Orb and I were working daily building the site for about 2months straight. Fine tuning everything, hacking code out, altering graphics, abusing the system to its max.

Then leppard from LOC finds out and is like hey anyone wanna help us out on our site. See Shover was in LOC before and left to start Wulfpack at the time. So after many talks we decided to reunite WN based from WP and LOC. This we figured would be great because we both had what the other wanted and both would bring the two clans into one better one. So after 2-3 weeks of modifying webpages on both to get them to match and getting wecometoplay to integrate we finally did it. So this added NOX and Tribes2 to WN from LOC. Obviously LOC was a TA clan originally just as WP or WN now was. But TA died on both ends for the most part but we all found new niches for games.

Now there where a few others working behind the scenes as well building the clan. lucabrasi was another who worked closely with shover in the beginning. So truly the clan founders of what WN is now today is Wakko and Shover. Any others I'm not sure on the LOC end as I was not there at the time but those are what I see as the founders.

But ultimately the question is how did WN get so damn large? Well yes we did create it and build it up. Web support seemed to be key to make sure we stayed strong but that means nothing without the members themselves. Its each member that has recruited another and honestly I see no one person who has dominated in recruiting. The leaders of sections do alot and help keep it together and make the final decision of who joins but the actual members have made WN what it is today.
