Recently i ordered a joystick:

And wanted to try out some "flying games"
I never really been into it but i guess since starflight (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starflight ) that was released in 1986 a lot has changed
No i have a copy of X3 Terran Conflict but haven't installed it yet as im waiting for my joystick to arrive (i think that would give me the best experience, same as with racing you need at least a gamepad or better a steer and not your keyboard)
I was looking for more similar games that where interesting to try out.
As i was searching i stumbled upon EVE Online on gamespot and got a 8.9 by the critics and a 9.0 by users so i checked the official website. Seeing the screenshots and the promo i went WOW.
This might be a game worth the money. The promo was made by the makers of the game so naturally it has a high (as i like to call it) Mc Donalds value. They make it sound as if its the best thing after the invention of the wheel. But regardless it looked real interesting.
Being a member of WNx i thought it would be best to go here to get some more answers/insight on the game.
It being an MMO i asume there is no Single player ability, you always have to play online?
I am not a complete n00b on RPG (I am grandmaster of an RPG game
) and im also not a complete n00b on MMO (see my secondary
) but is friendly towards new players as in does it have a mature playerbase (not necessarily meaning agewise).
I will try to hang with you guys as that would give me the best chance on learning the stuff.
Does it have 1 server or is it split in several servers with several galaxies?
Thanks for your time and if i decide to buy the game you are the first to know and i may switch secondary as i am beginning to feel that DDO is becoming to repetitive.
EDIT:
I forgot one very important question is it P2P or F2P (i really dislike thew p2p system so if i am to pay monthly for it it better be friggin good)

I'm currently at this very moment downloading EVE (trial of course, FREE 14 days to use).
After trial expires I'll go and buy my first GTC (correct right? game time card? ). Anyway, you all know what I'm thinking about.
So after that, I should be able to buy them regularly every month, and by saying that I'll be comming to the section as secondary

SATSM will be holding a mining op on the 11/03/10 in the system of Cherore again starting at 19:00hrs, will proly run till arround 23:00 game time! Hope to see you all their.
