Alright, this is going to be a rather busy month for me. School ended on the 3rd, so that's out of the way, but I've been talking with the Navy Recruiter over the past week, lots to do there... in a few days I go in for a physical... that'll take two days, they drive me to Sacramento, CA, put me in a hotel overnight, then spend the next day doing whatever with me... then I come home... hmm... dad's birthday is tomorrow (saturday) and then Father's Day is on Sunday... meh... fundraisers for anime convention. Then the convention itself, I'll be leaving for the Anaheim Anime Convention on June 28th, get back July 5th or so... before that, I have a friend that wants me to fly to Rhode Island (I live in California!) for his graduation... so if I did, that would be 24th-26th... probably won't though, lol. And... then I get back from the Anime Convention and the next day I leave for Hawaii with my family, won't be back til the 16th (and then I'll probably need 3 days in bed with aloe vera plastered on me before I lose the sunburn). Anyways, busy month. I had a point here somewhere... ah, right. The review, need to get one done this month so I don't get bitched out (since after the 27th of June I won't have another chance to write one until at least the 17th of July). Due to lack of time, I picked a shorter one like Nitto Racing (and it's one of the few I've played on the list of requests). So... enough of my personal crap, on to the actual review, eh?
Nitto 1320 Challenge
Platform: PC, maybe Mac
Genre: Racing Game
Date of Release: Already out...
ESRB: I don't know for sure, but having played it, if it's anything but "E" for Everyone, I will shoot the person who rated it.
Publisher: Nitto Tire Corporation
Developer: Nitto Tire Corporation (I believe)
One Line Summary (21/50, 42%, F-): Very simple, very basic racing game. Buy parts for your car, buy better cars, race, blah blah blah.
Game Information
Well, you start out with a Honda Civic Si, and as you get more money (by winning races) you can buy better cars. There are Aleros, Mitsubishis (I drive an Evo, lol), Dodge, Ford, etc. You race people (which involves move the "gas pedal" slider up and changing gears) for cash, upgrade your car, get a new paintjob, tune & dyno the thing... there's NOS of course... yeah... really not sure what to add here... lol.
Story (5/10): I don't really think there is a story... it's a racing challenge game put out by Nitto for the hell of it... does it need one?
Graphics (3/10): Smooth... right... well, I can confidently say that it will run just fine on a 500MHz computer :-p It was never designed to be aesthetically pleasing or anything... unsure of the engine.
Sound and Music (5/10): Somewhat realistic, not a lot in the way of sound really... but it does enhance gameplay, revs up, you shift up and the sound goes down and then raises again... not great, but the game wasn't designed to be great either.
Game Play/Control (5/10): Well, the controls are extremely easy to figure out

Drag the gas pedal up with your mouse and use the up/down keys to shift... and that's it. You don't drive the car, it goes in a straight line. Not much to it.
Multi-Player (3/10): Multiplayer is all 1v1, and it's identical to playing against the computer (except the players are a lot better). In my opinion, multiplayer doesn't change the game at all except that you get to talk to people and meet new friends, etc.
Multimedia
Screenshots: Max width 480... no problem, the game window can't be any bigger than 600... lol.
Videos: Download the game, it's 5MB >.<

In Closing
There's really not much to say about this, it's an interesting game if you ever get really, really bored. Nothing special, and it won't keep you entertained more than a week or two max, but hey, it passes time... just play it, it's a 5MB download, it's free, and you can learn just about everything you want to know in all of 20 minutes by playing it.
As I said, I'm busy busy so I don't have much time to spend on this, just needed to get one done. Of course, also as I said, there's little to do with it, so it works out well. If I forgot anything, please tell me so I can add it... this is really a sad review as is.
