H-Hour: World's Elite - New SOCOM by David Sears

I noticed a kick starter campaign while browsing through youtube for a new game.

The game?

H-Hour: World's Elite

The game is to be developed by David Sears, who worked on some of the earlier SOCOM games way back when. If they can reach their goal of 200,000$ by July 7th, the project will be funded and start up.

The game will be developed for the PC and PS4, and there are some good exclusive content you can get if you help back the project. Various DLCs access, in-game items, all the way up to the extreme of actually being flow to their studious and helping develop their game for a week and take part in their testing, or even becoming a character in-game.

The game is to be a tactile shooter where you obviously have to work as a team in order to win.

I advise anyone interested in ******** shooters to check this project out. Seems like a good game to bring into the clan when it is released around 2015.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited for the game. I hope they reach their goal. This won't be a new "SOCOM" in itself, it will be an entire new game built with aspects taken from the earlier SOCOM games, mainly how crucial team play will be in order to do well in the game.

I doubt they could ever top the first SOCOM and possibly FTB, but hey, with next gen tech we might see something great, or we might see Call of SOCOM.

Oh God, I couldn't even imagine at how milked it would be like CoD. I still play CoD for lots of people play it (my primary section), but man the series is so milked right now its sad. Everyone at my work isn't excited about CoD: Ghost at all, but we all to plan to get it anyways. It's laughable.

Unfortunately CoD is my dirty little secret. I love the campaigns and coop.

A remake would be nice. I have my hopes up for some good gameplay, for Sears worked on SOCOM 1 and 2. I'm hoping he keeps true to his word.

Yeah but one guy doesn't mean anything really, it could be all of the original Zipper guys and still be a massive pile of feces.

Sony however has never been one to absolutely demolish their exclusives so I can expect at least a decent game.
