Blizzard has been corrupted

Attention all people with a Blizzard game be very careful what you open from the Blizzard company in your e-mail, it seems they have some security errors and a scam has started where they send you a message impersonating the delivery failed no reply address. It claims your Blizzard accounts have been adjusted without your consent and asks you to take a survey thats been blocked by some internet security force. If you are getting these messages I suggest you Junk mail them and ignore them, DO NOT OPEN THE LINK or give out information. If you want e-mail the Blizzard support about it.

Be careful and I hope you have not been tricked.

Good to know. Yet another in a long, long list of scams affecting Blizzard lately.

Dirts and I were talking about this and he has a Blizzard acount, I do not. I have never had an account with them.

I have never played WoW, had a trial game or in fact any interest in WoW, so it struck me as very strange indeed that they would send me the following email.

Has anyone else other than Dirts and myself received this or similar regarding Blizzard? If so, did you follow their request and what was the outcome?

Euhm this has been the case for about 3 months now....
There isn't a leak in Blizzard Security or anything like that its just standard scam\phishing mail.
If been getting them from Aion as well so about 10 mails a day but they are just marked spam so they get thrown away

Yeah i have been gotten this for several months now, nothing new. Still, nice to tell everyone about it. But a new thread title would be good, "Blizz scam email" or something, it's not like THEY are corrupted.

Ah this warning.... already knew about it. Phishing scam that you normally get. How they get your email? Who knows/

I get like 3-4 a week... lol. Just ignore it. if it doesnt give a link to battle.net you know its bunk.

Wow... in more ways than one

Note that this email is particularly effective and devastating BECAUSE of their target: Blizzard's ban-happy" reputation against cheaters and abusers isn't helping them one bit in this case.

Ya, its always nice to know that it is going on before something to late happens. I have received emails from them before. But thats just cause I called them about a question about my account. Gets really annoying sometimes.
