You may have noticed a specific link on the left hand side of the navigation bar. There's Chat, Join, Servers, Rollcall, Diplomacy and Legend. All very important links. However, today I'd like to mention the seventh link:
Competitions. I'd like to formally announce the opening of the WN competitions system, right here, right now.
This system is the place to go for all your smack matches, tournaments and ladders. You can play individually, or as part of a created team. I appreciate that this system is not as straightforward for everybody as it is for some. That's why WNxStep07mar, WNxChaosbywind and myself have created a
guide for the system. It's a fairly hefty read but there's no need to go through it all now. If you're a game leader or BO Captain/HG, you'll want to read it all at some point so you know how to fully use this system for your sections. If you're a more casual member and just want to know how to make your good old smack matches, read the red sections only as a quick-start guide.
Everybody, however,
MUST read the rules. They are accessible through the system itself. If you violate these, you will be shot.
Once you've read the rules and the sections of the guide you need, go forth and smack each other up a bit! Get together in your sections, make teams, challenge other sections in similar games or perhaps titles from the
free game collection? Go nuts. That's how you win.
EDIT: Oh, and in Colombo style: just.. one more thing. If there's any bugs or your permissions allow you to do something that the guide says you shouldn't, or vice-versa: send a PM to me and I'll try and get Wakko to fix it, if we can't do it ourselves.
