ATI Catalyst Driver Issue.

I have a Sapphire ATI HD4850 Graphics Card.

When i go to install the latest drivers for it, i get this wierd error, 0x80040707, with no description, then it pops up saying ISLAYER.DLL not installed or something, then the installshield wizard starts up, gives me error 0x80040702 and shuts itself down again.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm going to assume you have .NET Framework 2.0.

I'm going to assume you downloaded the correct version of the driver.

I'm going to assume you've uninstalled previous drivers.

quickfix: goto start>run>type in cmd then copy/paste these two lines

Not sure how that works though. You get a folder called desktop and...?

done done and done. tried the solution, and it didn't work. Tried the registry way, and it didn't work either.
