Exactly. Kakadu national park is really a unique part of Australia's landscape. Not too many know or acknowledge it but the fact that it houses one of the richest reserves of Uranium is no excuse to plunder the region. I'm with this indigenous Australian, to hell with the mining company.
I can understand that from our general point of view: detached from that part of the world, not immediately impacted by any change there; however from his point of view, that land is ancestral. It would be similar to (crude analogy, but I'm tired so whatever) selling WN out for cold cash. Something along those lines.
Aside from that: five billion? Jeez, set for life!
