So,

Company of Heroes 2 is out in early 2013:

Here is the "idea" I would like to put out there for everyone:

Who is interested in making a section for CoH. The section can just migrate over to CoH2 when it comes out, OR if said section would like to remain a CoH section only, we can create a CoH2 section. We have numerous ways to go with this. What I would like though is anyone interested to let me know so I can have something to work with.

How is the CoH community now? When I tried playing online about a year ago, there were literally only a handful of games going on.

I'm sure with the announcement of 2, its picked up some. When I actually get in game I'll let you know.

I would be interested in playing when it comes out but im not so good at this game. Horrible at dealing with multiple fights. Great at defending one spot.

I'm quite pro (not trying to be elitist, but I spent a lot of time in it), one of the few RTS games I actually took the time to be very competitive at. I know almost everything there is to know about it. Me and Evan (WNxJackerooSundown) still play this frequently, we dominant in 2vs2, and have gotten others to buy it and play it with us. I own all three editions too.

Also, it should be noted that if you only want to play multiplayer, then the Tales of Valor edition is the best one to purchase. It gives you all 4 armies, all the operations and the additional custom troops and vehicles. The only things the other two (Opposing Fronts and vanilla) give are campaign missions. While they can be fun, once you've beaten them once, you don't have an interest to do it again, AKA no replay value.

Still active; about 50 - 100 ranked games going on at any given time and roughly 1000 - 2000 custom games, with 20 - 50 open at any given time. Ranked play is still viable and quite active. Your chances of finding the same person in a ranked match twice are slim and far between.

My only concern is that CoH 2 will be a flop due to the fact that THQ let go a ton of its employees and was having finacial issues if I recall correctly. Either way, I'm excited for it and really hope it lives up to the name of being the best RTS ever.


Hey Eric, I can recruit to make a section if we don't have enough people here aswell.

Oh, and I'm a Panzer Elite player and Evan is Wehrmacht. While I can play all factions well, I main in PE.

One last thing, if you guys aren't 'godly' at this game, it's no big deal at all. Evan and myself don't care if we win or lose, we just like to have fun. So if you share the same outlook feel free to go primary regardless of your skill level, no one in CoH will badger you over it and if a section was to be created, I'd see to it personally to make sure that isn't even a factor.

I have 45.8 hours of game time in the past 2 weeks alone.

*If you're wondering why I only have 156 hours total, it's because I used to play it off discs and not on Steam. When I lost my discs when I moved, I bought it on Steam.

Just played a friendly 1vs1 with TotallySpies, me as Panzer Elite and him as Americans. (GG, btw) look forward to playing again. I plan on teaching him some things in some online 2vs2's, I think it's easier for people to learn playing with a pro than against them.

If anyone would like to come along just ask and I'll add you, it's gonna be fun and a good learning experience if you're new to CoH or are rusty. Games go up to 4 players on a team, so if we get more than 4 we can do some games with just us and balance it as fairly as possible.

Again, if anyone is interested in signing up primary please let Eric or even myself know. This game is the best RTS, imo and is worth the time learning it. Especially with CoH2 right around the corner.

EDIT: My in-game name is WNxSidewinder. I've started over from scratch and got Evan (Jackeroo) to do the same. So just add me, and I'll accept!

Done a couple ranked on this new account. Forgot to save the replay for the first, but the second one I managed to salvage from my last played game.

Going to start uploading them to gamereplays.org for archiving purposes and the chance someone learning can make use of them.

HA WRONG. it is actually WNxChriss due to the fact that i made WNxChris awhile back, but as i formatted my PC since then I cant seem to gain access to that profile anymore.
