I wont go into detail exactly. But seen some screen shots of the D3 strat guide.. Inferno HP levels for mobs is a bit astronomical. Also they may be higher than is shown. I cannot wait!

From what I have read act 1 inferno would be level 61 monsters, act 2 level 62 and acts 3 and 4 would have level 63

what fun would it be if they weren't a bit difficult.

Really excited about Inferno because of those crazy high numbers. Think I'll stick to hell for at least a month when I get there. No need to waste all my gold on repair bills. I like to pretend that I play hardcore and avoid dying.

Considering to buy the strat guide, but I don't think they've announced the price of it yet.

When I get the price on the Strat guide i'll look into getting. it but yeah as Maniac said I think i'll stick to hell for a little while as to not die a whole lot.

From what I'm looking at, those have to be mini bosses or something. Unless gear becomes seriously OP at that point, there's no way something with that much HP can be a normal mob. Of course, stranger things have happened. We'll just have to wait and see. Either way, I'm stoked

Oh yea there will be mini bosses. (The ones that come before the main bosses in the act) I know they will be adding those

A dungeon simply would not be a dungeon without one or more mini-bosses and one big bad main boss.

That was pretty much one of the first things i learned making my own dungeons in NWN.

Create a cave with monsters. Left a mini boss with Key A on the right a mini Boss with Key B then use both keys to get to the main Boss.

I will not be buying the strategy guide. I should be able to zoom through. I will go hardcore on that

Strategy guide is a waste (in my opinion), everything can be found online - and it will become outdated as patches are released.

very good point. everything will be online including new things in patches. might still get the strat guide for the early game stuff though.

It would be cool to have but online is the place to be.

Interesting thing about guides and online games is that they are often out of date when they first come out already. Being things change fast with the games but the guides have to probably get printed a bit ahead of release, I would imagine it takes some time to get them printed and all that. The SK in beta had like a 1/3 more hp than the guide shows him having, not sure if that is going to be the same for launch though.

Aye, guides for computer games and some console games are a pitfall for consumers. That's why I chuckle every time they make a new guide for each World of Warcraft expansion.
