Bad Xbox

Sorry to say but my xbox gave me the 4 red ring of death so i am not able to play for a lil bit but i got a new one ordered and on the way, but on the bright side it gives me more time to play diablo 3

And its dead.. right in the middle of our game

4 red rings isnt the red ring of death, its an AV cable error. It could be something as simple as the chord becoming slightly unplugged, or gone bad.

already tried everything its locked up completely had to force the drawer to get my disc back

That's not good. Had the red rings myself on 2 occasions. Very upsetting.

This is why warrenties are a win.

As Exile said it is the AV Cables, you dont actually need to get a new xbox. the one that you need to watch for is the 3 red rings, (Top left, Top right, Bottom left) which means your xbox is dead.

The 4 red rings is AV Cables D:, Try switching some out.

ya that blows man, have you tried using a diffrent hard drive or pulling ur old one out to save the data, if u need any help trying to get your information off pm me. Also if you need to get a new HD drive for it I know how to format a labtop HDD or SSD drive for the xbox and its way cheaper than paying 50 bucks extra or more for there name and plastic.

From what I know. It's something to do with the cables.

My xbox won't read discs, I've opened it up and tweaked the laser a bit which solved it for a month or so.

I just pick it up and drop it. Usually works then.

I have never had any problems with red rings, touch wood!

Mine got this once then i started tweaking the cords and it all got better never had a problem since.

What I don't get is why they call it the Red Ring of Death when it's not even a full ring/circle...

I don't get why you like to be technical and nit pick this expression. Do you expect people to be like "oh, it's only 3/4 circle of death?"

AV cables are dirt cheap compared to a new Xbox, though.

well whatever it is the whole machine died it was not just the cables and just to state my xbox was a original the first model type and i had it for this long so no warranties. i got me a new one so ill be playing like a fool every night again.
