Age of Empires online is a historic Real-Time Strategy game that allows you to play online. The difference between this and your normal Online PvP is that there has not been many games that are able to incorporate Real-Time strategy feel but at the same time the PvP feel. It brings both PvP and RTS together which has been different from what we have seen. Now of course to sign-in you must use your Xbox-Live login. Nice thing is you can create a free account change your name and play Age of Empires all for free.

Now the lovely thing about this game is that you get to play online against other players.There is a point to all your quests during the beginning and that's to prepare you, so you won't lose your first couple of games. Also, the difference between this Age of Empires is the fact that everyone starts off the same then you build your way up instead of the usual everything is unlocked. Also, you would need to work your way up the tech tree and advance your civilization to the modern age.

What I love about this is you are able to play quests with friends online and the beautiful part about this is that it's free.You have two civilizations to choose from and it's the Greeks and Egyptians. Here's a little overview of both.

The nice thing with multiplayer game play is that you are able to play against your friends online or randomized battles generated by the computer. Now with PvP wins sometimes get you experience but other times you get the satisfaction of winning against your opponents.

Personally I would give this game an A rating but the fact that you have to do every quest is a little pain in the ass.All in all, graphics are a little cartoony but the actual game is really good. This game does need a little teamwork so this game would be perfect for Warrior Nation to have recruitment drives and to enjoy this game. One thing for sure is this game is going to be around for a while especially with all the upgrades.

Now the good thing with spending $20 for premium features is that you do have an advantage over your opponents but I mean it doesn't make you better then anyone because it's about strategy and if you know how to play then you can use any army. This video is a little preview of a 1v1 online.

Conclusion
This game is worth giving it a try it's free. Now just because I like it does not mean everyone else will like it. Its very short and doesn't hold a lot of info.
I assume you have played it? (i have a greek Civ lvl 30 myself)

I am really missing KEY elements in your review one of the main things being the tech tree, gear you find in different levels.
I'm also missing info on units.
What the differences are between premium and free (most notably use of certain gear and advisors).
Trading between players.

Maybe even a small comparison with previous AoE games....

Because of that i would not approve that review as its incomplete.

Its better but you may want to focus more on the tech tree. At lvl up you get 3 points to spend in your tech tree. You need to make choices what you will be upgrading out of the 3 tabs the tree has (Combat, util and economics) You don't get enough points to max everything out so there will be a lot of different combinations around etc.

But add info how the game "feels". Is it addictive in a sense that you want to keep playing even if its near bedtime. What are difference in play between Greek and Egypt civilization.
How high is the fun factor, that kind of stuff.
