I'm Horizon, Hori, or just David and I've been a WN member for over 5 years now and I've seen a lot of changes, throughout a variety of positions, ranks and structures and have made a good deal of friends. I'd like to say I've got the experience to talk on topics with some authority.

I bring you this blog to talk about unique things, new ideas and maybe bring highlight to things you might not have thought about before.

For those who know me, yes I have returned! I came in under the radar and life is treating me well and I'm VERY busy.

[I]It seems that WN is undergoing something of a decline again, in terms of rollcall at the very least. I've seen this happen before and it was not a pretty time in the story of WN.

There's a certain number of signs that come with this.

1. Obviously the [COLOR="orange"]decline in rollcall [/COLOR]and active users. We went down by over 100 members in September, and our active user count has decreased further (currently 1,679 members), so it indicates that it...

[I]I've been in WN for 2 and half years now, give or take. I still feel comparatively new in some regards, but at the same time I've experienced a fair bit. Something I've been wondering was given all the people I've worked with, and if we could bring everyone back at their best levels of activity, who would we have in all of the positions.

If anyone does read this, no disrespect to anyone serving there, as almost everyone has been good, but these are who I thought were the best....

[I]So I've been back for a couple of weeks now. Anybody who's really interested about why can just give me a shout on Xfire, as I practically LIVE on that messanger :P. Simply put, I needed a break from WN, and some of the stuff I'd experienced over the previous months. Yeh sure I could have just dropped my tags and disappeared, but that really wouldn't have worked for me.

So now I'm back, and what do I think? Well, I was only gone for just over a month, so nothing really changes...

[I]I'm creating a history. Why? Well my sig is well getting ridiculous due to the positions I held. Therefore, I wanted to create one in a blog. Not one of those generic ones that just lists positions; but also to give a little bit of a description about what happened and why.
